Explore Wall Graphic Solutions with General Formulations

At PacPrint 2025, visitors to the Graphic Art Mart stand had the chance to discover a diverse range of wall graphic films from General Formulations, presented by Jay Kroll, Director of Product Education. Find out what wall film is best for your next job!

Wall Graphics for Smooth Surfaces

General Formulations offers a complete portfolio of wall materials, ideal for both residential and commercial spaces. While demonstrations were performed on Aluminium Composite Panel, these solutions are designed for typical smooth surfaces like painted plasterboard and gyprock.

A standout product is the 226 WallMark, a 150-micron removable wall film featuring a microsphere acrylic adhesive. Its thicker construction makes it easy to handle, requiring no lamination, while offering clean removability and repositionability for stress-free installation.

To achieve a premium, textured finish, 229 HTR WallMark Canvas delivers. Featuring a canvas-like texture and high-tack removable adhesive—originally developed for products like RoughMark and 290 ChalkMark, this film adheres strongly to tricky surfaces such as low-VOC paints, metals, plastics, and wood, while still allowing clean removal for up to six months.

Graphics for Textured & Rough Surfaces

Standard adhesives often struggle on rough, porous surfaces like unpainted brick or low-energy substrates. That’s where General Formulations RoughMark 285 comes in a high-tack removable film engineered specifically for these challenging environments.

Key Benefits:

• Strong initial grip
• Reliable hold without becoming permanent
• Repositionable during installation

Installation Tips for Rough Surfaces:

• Align and position the graphic for initial contact
• Use gentle heat to improve film flexibility
• Apply firm pressure with a foam roller (e.g., RollyPro) to work the film into the surface texture
• While deep recesses like mortar lines can be tricky, achieving solid adhesion to the surface texture alone typically delivers durable, professional results.
